Gerry Wienholt

Gerry Wienholt photoGerry Wienholt is a gifted speaker, consultant, and leader whose personal mission is to enliven the passion of people, leading them to excel in the fulfillment of their purpose and compelling them to accomplish extraordinary results. As the thirteenth of fourteen children, growing up with eight brothers and five sisters, Gerry understands the crucial importance of communication, teamwork, and the profound power of the individual to dream & achieve.

As President of PEP inc., Gerry has traveled nationally and internationally consulting with a variety of companies and organizations including McCormick & Co., Comcast Communications, Thomson Prometric, TechnoMedia International, Rolls Royce, WR Grace, Computer Science Corporation (CSC), University of Baltimore, PHH, and Mellon Bank.

He is an accomplished motivational speaker, having delivered hundreds of presentations and keynote messages and has received numerous accolades for his training and facilitation talents. (A highlight of his career is sharing the stage with Cal Ripken, Jr. at a Comcast event for over 3,000 participants.) He is considered a sales and negotiations expert and is currently licensed and certified to offer nationally acclaimed, Porter Henry training curriculum in the SalesAbility®, ManageAbility®, and Value-Added Negotiation courseware. In addition, he is licensed and certified to offer highly regarded Franklin Covey courseware: Presentation Advantage® and Writing Advantage®.

Gerry recently served as Vice-President and General Manager for ServiceMagic, Inc., an Interactive Corporation (IAC) subsidiary, where he spearheaded the startup of a new sales center in Kansas City. Here he re-engineered the sales recruiting, hiring, training and development of over 150 sales & marketing professionals, who achieved unprecedented levels of productivity.

Mr. Wienholt is a graduate of the Department of Defense National Cryptologic School, where he trained in computer technology. He served as an agent for the National Security Agency (NSA) with the agency's highest level of security clearance in the U.S. He supervised computer operations for a sales telemarketing center for MCI Telecommunications Corporation.

As owner/operator of multiple quick-service, Chick-fil-A® restaurants, his units were consistently in the top 5% of the chain in sales and profits performance. For over ten years, he was known within the Chick-fil-A® organization for his ability to develop and coach key management personnel, who later became owner/operators of their own locations.

Early on, Gerry was gripped with the realization that all of us have a belief, a hope, a dream that often is tucked away and hidden for fear of failure or criticism. Consequently, he is driven to engage and compel his audience to grasp a higher vision for their work performance and persuades them to meet the challenge. There comes that liberating moment in life when someone acknowledges who we are and what we can be, igniting the circuits of our highest potential. Gerry Wienholt is that kind of person. His motivational topics include IMPACT Performance™ and The Passion Secret™. Gerry's obvious, upbeat zest for living is both highly inspirational and contagiously invigorating!

He was co-founder and President of Pivotal Training, Inc., which provided outsourced training services to developers of enterprise software products and Education Communications Inc., an educational marketing firm, which developed comprehensive communications strategies for colleges and universities.

In addition, Gerry was Director of Alliances & Software Sales for Syscom, Inc. and implemented The Passionate Performer Program™ with Syscom's TrainingServer™ Software Division.

He formerly served on the Board of Directors for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), The Outreach Foundation, and as adjunct faculty member for Essex Community College's workforce education program and Harford Community College's professional development courses.

He also served as a faculty member for Shapiro Negotiations Institute (SNI), co-presenting The Power of Nice™ negotiation seminars with super-agent, Ron Shapiro (Agent for Cal Ripken, Jr.) to companies including: Black & Decker, Allfirst Bank, Green Thumb, Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and Digex.
